Rest In Peace

Please Pray for Jackie

2nd Anniversary, 12th-January-2012

Without a Last Goodbye

We did not see you close your eyes,
We did not see you die,
All we knew was that you were gone,
Without a last goodbye,

It was a sudden parting,
Too bitter to forget,
Only those who loved you,
Are the ones who will never forget.

The happy hours we once enjoyed,
How sweet their memories still,
But death has left a vacant place,
This world can never fill.

Your life was one of kindly deeds,
A helping hand for others’ needs,
Sincere and true in heart and mind,
Beautiful memories left behind.

Acknowledgement and Thanks

Aubrey, Daughter Kerrie, Sons Alan & Gary, Mother Kay, Sisters, Brothers, In-Laws, Nieces, Nephews and all of the extended Family of the Late Jackie Martin would like to Thank all of the Relatives, Friends and Neighbours and Strangers who helped in any way during our most sad and tragic loss of our Wonderful and Beautiful Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister and Friend just one year ago.

We thank you all for your heart-felt support, offers of Condolences, for remembering us in your Prayers, for your Mass Cards and Bouquets, for visiting our Home, attending Mass and the Burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Thanks for just being there.
Thanks to Fr. Coleman for his very kind words and for the Readers and Rosemary for her beautiful singing at the Funeral Mass, To the Coffin Bearers, to the Guard of Honour from St Oliver’s National School and St Pat’s Secondary School, also to Jackie’s Work Colleagues and Friends from Nolan’s Pharmacies.

To all our wonderful and kind Neighbours who spent so much of their time providing refreshments and for just being there to support us during this very trying time. To the Meath River Rescue Volunteers, the Kayak and Canoe Clubs, Gardai and Sub Aqua units, The Coast Guard, Monahans and Murphy’s for the Helicopter, the Gardai, The Ambulance Crew, Jim Fox the Funeral Director for a dignified and compassionate manner, and all of the hundreds of volunteers who spent day after day in the coldest weeks of last year combing the river.

For all those who travelled long distances just to be there in the church and everyone else who ever knew Jackie and had her in their thoughts and prayers. You will never know just how much your efforts and assistance during these difficult times is appreciated today.

It would be almost impossible to thank each person and however much we try we’re sure we will forget someone. If that is the case then this is especially for you. We hope each and every person will accept these words of thanks and appreciation and some Masses will be offered for your intentions.

May Jackie Rest In Peace

Aubrey, Kerrie, Alan & Gary
